First, you make an appointment on our website. After that, you will receive a confirmation in your mailbox. Making an appointment by phone is also among the possibilities. You then bring your items at the appointed time, after which they are frozen by us at -20 degrees Celsius for the duration of 3 full days. After this period, you can pick up your belongings again at your convenience. Upon returning home, just wash out the garments and your clothes will be as before!
Are you unable to deliver your items? Then that’s no problem because we at Kledinginvriezen.nl also offer the option of picking up your belongings. Ask about the cost of this by phone and we can calculate it based on where you live.
Scabies designation is a parasitic infection of the scabies mite. This mite settles under the skin and digs thousands of subcutaneous passages there, as it were, and lays eggs there so that more and more mites develop. The human body then struggles against the parasites causing extreme itching with pus and dry skin.
The mite looks like a round pit with four legs on the front near the head. The legs serve as tools for burrowing into the skin. The mite itself is smaller than a millimeter in diameter and is barely visible to the naked eye.
Usually people become infected through intense physical contact, but infection through clothing is also a cause. For example, if an article of clothing belonging to someone with scabies has (unknowingly) been in contact with your clothing. People can also become infected through bedding.
If you have scabies you are advised to consult a doctor. Preferably a dermatologist. This doctor can help you get rid of the condition. It is also important to rid your clothing of the scabies mite. The most effective way to do this is to freeze your clothes and other fabrics for the duration of 3 days.
Do you suffer (or have suffered) from scabies or think you have been in contact with someone infected with scabies? Then it is wise to freeze your clothing at a very low temperature to ensure that the scabies will not return. We freeze your clothing during 3 days in at -20 °C so as to ensure a positive result.
